The rule
Do not use SmoothSail to break the law, to harm people, or to make the service worse for other merchants.
What is not allowed
Selling anything illegal where you are selling it. Fraud, including fake stores and card testing. Content that harasses or endangers people. Anything that infringes someone else’s rights.
Technical limits
Do not attempt to reach another store’s data, probe the service for weaknesses without asking us first, or send automated traffic that degrades it for others.
Security research
We welcome it. Write in before you start and tell us what you found before you tell anyone else.
If a rule is broken
We may suspend a store, usually after asking about it first. Where the law requires it or people are at risk, we act immediately.
