A long-form publishing platform: reading, writing, responses, highlights, lists, publications and topics. It is where we write about what we are building, which is the reason it gets the same standard of attention as client work.

What it does
A publishing product, not a blog theme
Horizon carries the interaction model of a mature publishing product: the reading surface, the writing surface, and the social layer between them. Layout values were measured from rendered pages rather than guessed.
Reading
Feeds, topics, publications and lists, with responses and highlights on every piece.
Writing
A real editor built on TipTap, with drafts, revisions and a publish flow that does not lose work.
Membership
Accounts, follows and a members surface, so a publication has an audience rather than a page count.
Found and shared
Canonicals, sitemaps, RSS, social cards and JSON-LD, asserted on every build rather than hoped for.
Typography as a feature
Instrument Sans, Source Serif 4, Newsreader and Figtree, all self-hosted, because a reading product lives or dies on its text.
Tested where it matters
Every route requested, every API asserted, the authorization matrix driven as a second user, and the crawl surface checked on each build.

Read it
The fastest way to judge a publishing platform is to read something on it.
